The HP 1240 Fax Machine
The HP 1240 Fax Machine is ideal for small or home office applications and offers a phone, and convenience copier in an easy-to-use unit. It is having a built-in 33.6 Kbps fax modem which delivers fast plain paper faxing at around 3 seconds per page. Some additional features include 100 speed dials, up to 200-page memory, and the capability to forward faxes to another number or even to your PDA or cell phone. The copying features of the HP 1240 include up to 12 cpm in color and up to 1,200 dpi color resolution, or up to 17 cpm in black and up to 600 dpi black resolution. This fax machine uses a simple two-cartridge print system that is black ink cartridge and one tri-color ink cartridge for simple operation and upkeep. It also features a corded handset for occasional calling or for use as a back-up phone line, as well as is equipped with distinctive ring tones and caller ID capability.
